FAE DML/SSL – Compact Mulching Power for Lighter Skid Steers (50–75 hp)

The FAE DML/SSL is built for operators needing serious mulching capabilities without the size or weight of heavier units.
Available in 62″ (DML/SSL/150) and 70″ (DML/SSL/175) working widths,
it’s the perfect solution for skid steers between 50–75 hp,
especially when maneuverability and hydraulic efficiency are key.

Power Options:

• VT (Variable Torque) Hydraulic Motor – Adapts to varying loads on the fly, delivering more torque when needed and minimizing rotor stalls. Ideal for maximizing efficiency with less horsepower.
• Sonic Technology – FAE’s intelligent mulching system that continuously calibrates rotor speed and hydraulic flow for up to 30% more productivity, smoother performance, and reduced operator fatigue.

Rotor Options:

• Open Rotor with Bolt-On Teeth – Best for general-purpose brush and vegetation control.
• Bite Limiter Rotor – Equipped with hardened steel limiter rings to regulate cutting depth, reduce fuel consumption, and provide more uniform mulch—especially useful in softer material or where lower hydraulic flow is available.
